Every little helps…

Fundraising events and activities help us to reach our goals and give us the opportunity to help patients achieve a better quality of life.

From coffee mornings, sponsored cycling, walking and more; we hold several events throughout the year to raise funds for the Charity all of which you could get involved in. We also help support entrants who choose to raise money for us running in local and national marathons.

If you’d like to fundraise or volunteer to help support our service there are a number of ways you can get involved. Below are some fundraising ideas to get you started:

  • Host a raffle, coffee morning or Bake sale at work

  • Ask your employers for a sponsored dress down day

  • Run in an established sponsored walk or race

  • Charity Car Wash

  • Craft events

  • Come dine with me charity night – everyone donates money for their meal

  • Host a magic show or singing event

If you’d like to get involved in other ways, we also have a number of volunteering opportunities including; helping out at events, writing for our ‘Ticker Newsletter’, to joining our fundraising committee.

The committee work to organise fundraising events and activities in order to help us keep the charity running. They meet on the second Tuesday of every month and happily welcome fresh ideas and newcomers. If you would like to come along to a meeting to find out more, we would love to meet you!
