The “Love Your Heart” Summer Prize Draw is registered with Monmouthshire County Council in accordance with Part 5 of Schedule 11 of the Gambling Act 2005, Licence no. GLR107.

1) Your purchase of “Love Your Heart” Summer Prize Draw entries is from the North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation and Aftercare Charity (“The Promoter”), solely in accordance with the terms under which the Charity from time to time promotes its lotteries.
2) You represent and agree that:
a) You are 18 years of age or over
b) You are a resident of Great Britain or Northern Ireland
c) You will not buy or purport to buy an entry to this lottery on behalf of anybody under the age of 18
d) You will provide accurate entry information, including the name, personal address and telephone number of the ticket purchaser and accept that it is your responsibility to keep us informed of any changes as soon as they arise.
3) You agree that you shall not be entitled to receive any prize if you are unable to substantiate to the Promoter your representations under paragraphs 2 (a), (b), (c) and (d) above.
4) You accept that this Prize Draw is regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission and that in certain circumstances we may be unable to provide refunds or replacements once you have purchased your lottery entries.
5) The cost of each entry is £1 per play and you can purchase an unlimited number of entries per draw between 01 August 2024 and the closing date of 12:30pm on 29 September. Payment must be made in advance by one of the following methods: cash, bank transfer, debit card or cheque payable to the North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation and Aftercare Charity. Your tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received. All profits go to the North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation and Aftercare Charity, to help fund our work in the community.
6) Employees of the charity, their agencies and other companies having any connection with the production of the Prize Draw as well as relatives of such persons, are not eligible to enter. Any tickets bought by such persons will be rejected from the draw and considered as donations to the charity.
7) The Promoter may (without giving any reason or notice at its absolute discretion) decline to accept an application, or terminate or suspend the lottery scheme.
8) Winners will be selected at random in an independently supervised draw at the Love Your Heart sponsored walk at Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar on Sunday 29 September. A list of the winners will be published on our website at cardiac-rehab.org.uk/news within three weeks of the draw date. 9) The prizes for the Love Your Heart Summer Prize Draw can be found above on this page. There are no alternatives to any prize and no cash alternatives. Winners will be notified by telephone no later than three weeks after the draw date.
10) No liability is accepted for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication sent by post.
11) The Promoter is not responsible for any delay in bank payments.
14) The Promoter’s decisions made pursuant to the Rules shall, once made, shall be final and binding.
15) We reserve the right to contact winners and ask to use their name, location and prize for marketing purposes.
16) Entries must be returned to arrive before the closing date of 12:30pm on 29 September. Any entries received after the closing date will be treated as a donation to the charity.
17) The charity accepts no responsibility for tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
18 ) No responsibility is taken for tickets and payment lost, delayed, or damaged in the post and proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The charity accepts no responsibility if chosen method of payment is cancelled in error.
19) Please keep your ticket as proof of purchase. Where the charity is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for 1 month following the charity’s first attempt to notify the prize-winner, we may reallocate the prize as we see fit, including by re-offering the prize in future raffles or prize draws. The charity reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion. The result of the Prize Draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
20) The Promoter is not liable in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence) or otherwise in connection with the Prize Draw for loss of revenue, contract, profits, anticipated savings or loss of data, any special or indirect or consequential losses or any loss of goodwill or reputation. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or for any other matter for which liability may not be limited by law.
20) No liability is accepted for loss or damage incurred by you in connection with your participation in the Prize Draw or your use of any prize (including but not limited to direct, indirect and/or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered in sustained in connection with the prize or any part of it
21) No liability is accepted for any failure or delay beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
22) All warranties, conditions or guarantees relating to the Prize Draw made by or on behalf of the Promoter whether express or implied by law, in the course of dealings or otherwise, are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Prizes:
All prizes are as described in the list above, with the addition of the following details:
Pet portrait: the size, format and media for the pet portrait can be selected by the winner in consultation with the artist, with a choice of water colour, coloured pencil or acrylics.
Whole leg of lamb: the winner will receive a gift voucher from MT Cashell & Sons Butchers, High Street Crickhowell. The prize must be as described. The leg of lamb will be supplied fresh and will be approx. 2.75kg in weight. The prize must be redeemed within 6 months – so by 31 March 2025.
Autumn planter: the container will be supplied complete, with plants chosen and planted up by the donor. Basic care instructions will be provided.
Mixed case of wine: this will be made up of 6 x bottles donated by class members, and the exact mix of wines cannot by guaranteed.
