Join us on Thursday 18 April from 2pm-4:30pm at the Moose Hall in Tredegar for a FREE Heart Health event.

Expect an information-packed afternoon with expert advice from a range of guest speakers including:

  • Cardiac nurse specialist Helen O’Leary on controlling your cholesterol levels;
  • Chris Nottingham, from the Blaenau Gwent Food Partnership, on eating for a healthy heart;
  • Sue Arnold, from Education Programmes for Patients (EPP Cymru), on living well with a long-term health condition.

Plus, charity member Neil Dufty will be telling how he’s rebuilding his life after developing a poorly understood and often misdiagnosed condition called microvascular angina. (Those of you who heard Neil’s story at our AGM last November will know he’s an excellent speaker!)

The event is free, there’s no need to book and it’s open to everyone, so please do bring along your partner, or a friend or relative.

We’ll have a break halfway through, with free refreshments and a chance to chat. And if you haven’t visited the Moose Hall before, we can tell you there’s plenty of free on-site parking, and the hall itself is comfortable and well lit, with WCs and easy access.
