Empowering and making a difference in the North Gwent Cardiac Community
We are looking to recruit several voluntary positions to join our board of trustees.
Founded in 1990 the North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation and Aftercare Charity (NGCRAC) runs community exercise classes for members who have suffered a cardiac event within Monmouthshire and Blaenau Gwent.
Whether it’s a heart attack, cardiac surgery or heart failure diagnosis, our charity supports the people who need us most. It helps them to regain their strength and confidence through exercise and to live happier, healthier lives.
Whether you’re an experienced trustee or want to take your first step at Board level, we want to hear from you.
As a trustee you will have:
- Opportunities to make strategic decisions.
- Opportunities work at an operational level within the charity working independently and as a team to improve the quality of service.
- Influence to shape innovative projects.
- The Chance to improve the health and well-being of people in the North Gwent Community
The expected work time commitment is a meeting every 6 weeks at the Neville Hall Education Centre, plus additional work at an operational level to support the running of the Charity.
